How to get started with your Zempler Bank credit card
Download the app or request a Code Key
Download the app from the iOS App Store or Google Play.
If you prefer to log in to Online Banking using a Code Key, give us a call to order one.
Set up your account login details
If you haven’t already done so, you’ll need to set up a username, password, and memorable questions.
You can do this via the app or application status tracker using the application reference number we emailed to you at when you applied.
Log in to Online Banking
Use the app or Code Key to request your verification code needed to log in to Online Banking.
Activate your card
Once your card arrives, it’s time to activate it so you can start using it for purchases. You can do this using the app, Online Banking or by calling us on 0330 024 0924.
To do this in Online Banking:
- Log in to Online Banking. Remember, you’ll need a verification code from the app or a Code Key to do this.
- Head to Manage My Account > Activate a Card.
- Enter the requested digits of your card number.
Receive your PIN
Your PIN will be sent separately in the post to your registered address.
Your card is ready to use!

- Track spending and see your statements on the go
- Itemised billing to track expenses more easily
- Make a payment
Safety reminder: Stay alert for scams!
- NEVER share personal details like usernames or passwords with anyone, even if the person claims to be from Zempler Bank.
- NEVER share one-time passwords (OTPs) or approve in-app requests for unknown transactions over the phone. If you don’t know what it’s for, hang up the call and call us on 0330 024 0924 immediately.
- Always be vigilant and if something doesn’t seem right, contact us immediately.
FAQs
If you’re entering your username correctly, you might receive an error message because you haven’t downloaded and logged in to the Zempler Bank app before or haven’t requested a Code Key.
If you get an error message when you try to enter your password and verification code, you may have entered either of these incorrectly. Generate a new verification code and try again.
If you’ve entered your password and verification code incorrectly, your account may be locked. To unlock your account, please call our Customer Service team and we’ll be able to help you out.
If you’ve forgotten your password and you don’t have the latest version of the Zempler Bank app and you’re trying to activate your Code Key, you can reset your password here.
- Check that your Code Key is activated (if not, here’s how to activate it).
- Go to Online Banking and enter your username, then your password. You’ll then be asked for a verification code.
- To get your verification code, press and hold down the Code Key button until the eight digit code appears. You should see flashing dashes on the screen as the numbers load.
- Enter the code onscreen.
