The bank card must be in your own name and registered to your address. We don’t accept cheque, credit card or cash payments.
Money from refunds, reversals and certain types of payouts (e.g. gambling) are not classed as payments and you’ll still need to make at least the minimum payment.
* Automatic payments can be for the whole statement balance owed, the minimum payment amount or a set amount. If you consent to us storing your bank card details for the purpose of making future payments, you have the right to cancel this at any point by calling our Customer Service team.
FAQs
It’s the smallest amount you’re required to pay after each statement period where you had a balance, to keep your account in good standing.
We recommend you pay as much of your balance off each month as you can, and not just the minimum payment. If you only make the minimum payment each month it will take you longer and cost you more to pay off your balance.
For Business Credit Cards: Your minimum payment will be whichever is the larger amount between:
- £10 (or the total Balance Outstanding if it's less than £10); or
- 2% of the Balance Outstanding on the Account on the Statement Date, plus: all interest charged for the previous Monthly Statement Period; any Fees applied to your Account during the previous Monthly Statement Period (excluding Annual Fee); and any Instalment Plan payment due for that month (if applicable)
For personal Credit Cards: Your minimum payment will be whichever is the larger amount between:
- £10 (or the total Balance Outstanding if it's less than £10); or
- 3% of the Balance Outstanding on the Account on the Statement Date, plus: all interest charged for the previous Monthly Statement Period; any Fees applied to your Account during the previous Monthly Statement Period (excluding Annual Fee); any Instalment Plan payment due for that month (if applicable)
Money from refunds, reversals and certain types of payouts (e.g. gambling) are not considered as payments and you’ll still need to make at least the minimum payment.
Please check your credit card statement for details of the minimum payment due.
Monthly: Each month we’ll send you a Zempler Credit Card statement through the Zempler Bank app and Online Banking, unless you have requested it by post. This will show:
- A reminder of your payment due date
- The total amount spent on your Credit Card
- The minimum payment due
- A breakdown of any fees or interest
Annually: You’ll also receive an annual statement once a year, in the same month you opened your Zempler Credit Card account. We only send annual statements to customers who’ve used their card, or made another transaction on their account during the year (e.g. made a payment).
The annual statement is intended to be a quick and easy way to see what type of transactions you’ve made, how much you’ve spent, and any fees and interest you’ve incurred using your Zempler Credit Card over the last 12 months.
To make a one-off payment using your bank card you can use our online repayment service by logging into Online Banking and selecting ‘Make a repayment’.
You can save your bank card details to make future payments quicker or to set up automatic payments. If you consent to us storing your bank card details for the purpose of making future payments, you have the right to cancel this at any point by calling Customer Service.

Yes. There’s a late payment fee of £12 if you fail to make at least the minimum payment by its due date. You’ll also incur additional interest and the total cost of paying back your debt will grow. Interest will be charged on the late payment fee if you don’t pay it off within 30 days. By not making or being late with your payments you could damage your credit rating.

Unlike a Direct Debit, it’s not covered by the Direct Debit Guarantee scheme. If you consent to us storing your bank card details for the purpose of making future payments, you have the right to cancel this at any point by calling our Customer Service team.
