How to set up a Direct Debit
You can set up Direct Debits to be paid from your Zempler account. Just set these up with the company you want to pay and provide your Zempler account details.
You’ll need:
- Your account number and sort code
- Bank Name: Zempler Bank Ltd
- Bank Address: Cottons Centre, Cottons Lane, London SE1 2QG
An additional benefit to our Direct Debit service is our insufficient funds alerts - if a Direct Debit looks like it's going to bounce, we'll alert you before your payment's due. So you'll have time to pay into your Zempler account if needed.
How to manage your Direct Debits
To view your active Direct Debits in the Zempler app:
- Log in to the app
- Click ‘Pay’ and ‘Direct Debit’
- View your Active and/or cancelled Direct Debits
To view your active Direct Debits in Online Banking:
- Log in to Online Banking
- Go to ‘Payments & Transfers’, then select ‘Direct Debits’
- View your Active and/or cancelled Direct Debits
To amend an existing Direct Debit, contact the company you have set up your Direct Debit with directly.
The company you’re paying can also provide details on when the payments will be taken each month and the amount.
To cancel an existing Direct Debit, select the Direct Debit in-app or Online Banking Go to Payments and transfers
- Select the active Direct Debit
- Click cancel and confirm cancellation
